NIPPONIA HOTEL / Ozu Castle Town

Step back in time with a special night in a townhouse of historic value

NIPPONIA HOTEL Ozu Castle Town, including 11 guestrooms across three heritage townhouses in Ozu, brings a new breath into modern travelers wishing to experience its history once thrived as a castle town in the 17th century.

In the summer of 2020, NIPPONIA brand has launched a hotel that turned the whole town into accommodation, with guestrooms located in three different houses. Inspired by ancient Ozu lords, the houses are called OKI, SADA, and TSUNE all with different themes.

Travelers can enjoy rooms that make use of Japanese architectural designs such as warehouses and gardens, where nostalgia and newness meet. In the executive room, you can rent out the entire building and have a view of Ozu Castle all to yourself.

Each guest room has a cypress bath, to relax and rejuvenate at your own time from the busyness of traveling. Forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and enjoy the architecture, art, and culture of a historical town with a slower pace of life.

For meals, you can enjoy innovative fusion that makes use of the seafood of the Seto Inland Sea, the products of the mountains rich in nature, and the products of the Hijikawa River that flows from there. French techniques have been used to bring out the charm of many food treasures, creating new dishes that are neither Japanese nor Western.
